The boss has a large amount of HP and won’t go over easily. Just keep hitting him with everything you have to take Dawntide Gold down his HP until he finally falls over and dies.

Archers: Try and keep him Poisoned and Bleeding in addition to constantly hitting him with powerful attacks.

Mages: Just hit him with everything you have

Clerics: The main tank is your priority but if there are enough clerics healing, a couple can go in and attack.

There have been KQ's where the boss has taken so long to kill that there hasn't been time to get to the gate to finish the KQ so people have come up with a way to make sure they wont miss the gate.

Before the boss dies a low level ranged char will move over and stand by where the gate is, this means that as soon as the boss dies there is somebody waiting to move through the gate. By doing this it is impossible for groups to fail the KQ even after killing the boss.

Staff - A mage class-locked weapon. The ranged weapon with the most damage over time and aim rate of the two mage weapons – this weapon is typically used for its DoT bonus.
